I found a product review for this stuff called ActiveZyme, I have heard of it before but never got around to seeing what it’s all about. Apparently ActiveZyme is a Digestive Supplement that seeks to cure heart-burn, gas and constipation by giving the body more enzymes.
If your on the market for a digestive supplement you should deffinitely try tis one out.
I checked their site, and sure enough, ActiveZyme is giving out FREE trials.
What Is It?
ActiveZyme is a digestive aid, containing a host of digestive enzymes. Its purpose is to help break down food more efficiently so that your body gets the full benefit of food’s nutritional elements (vitamins and minerals), which may ultimately lead to even more health benefits overall. Who isn’t all for that?
What Do They Say it Does?
Many Americans live with an enzyme deficiency due to a diet of processed and cooked foods. ActiveZyme provides missing enzymes that aid digestion. It includes high-quality, plant-based enzymes from Japan, and contains no corn, wheat, dairy, gluten, soy, sugar, salicylates or casein and is natural and safe.
Research has suggested that ActiveZyme may also help with the following:
- Ease and help eliminate indigestion
- Purify your blood
- Strengthen your immune system
- Break down fats more efficiently
- Lower triglyceride and cholesterol levels
- Cleanse your colon
- Improve aging skin
- Improve sleep
Ingredients
Main Ingredients: Proprietary Enzyme Blend (Amylase; Protease; Lipase; Cellulase; Invertase; Malt Diastase; Lactase; Lactobacillus acidophilus; Bifidobacterium longum)
Other Ingredients: Vegetarian capsule (cellulose and water)
What We Like
The ingredients are all natural – and don’t contain certain elements that some people may be allergic to (wheat, dairy, gluten, etc.). The pills are small and very easy to swallow. Additionally, if you have trouble swallowing pills (even the small ones), the capsules can be pulled apart and the ingredients mixed directly with your food.
What We Don’t Like
The directions for usage indicate 1-2 capsules with every meal, but that more capsules may be taken as needed depending on the “types and amounts of food eaten and the individual’s difficulty of digestion.” Unfortunately it doesn’t give a suggestion for how many more capsules, or guidance as to how many might be too many, which might lead some people to have to experiment to find the right dosage.
As always, check with your doctor before starting any new supplements because there are several options out there. For example, there’s also Simply Digestion, CapraZyme, Absorb Aid, CoraZyme, and NextXyme. Overall we think ActiveZyme is an effective enzyme product, and we give it a 4+ rating.
