Bio-Krill/500: Anti-Aging Supplement

Anti-aging remains a hot topic with Insider's Health Readers. Let's face it . . . nobody wants to get old and that includes myself. But what's a consumer to do? There are so many different products that claim to stop the aging process, but do they really? Let's take a look at some anti-aging supplements starting with Bio-Krill/500.
What Is It?
Bio-Krill/500 is an anti-aging supplement. Bio-Krill/500’s main component comes from krill, which are tiny shrimp-like crustaceans that feed on the nutrients of the ocean floor. Krill oil contains omega-3 fatty acids, as well as powerful antioxidants. Products made from krill have been shown to have as much as 47 times more cellular rejuvenating power than Omega-3 fish oil, up to 300 times more than vitamins A and E and up to 500 times more powerful than other antioxidant foods.
What Do They Say It Does?

What We Like
The Bio-Krill/500 soft gels are easy to swallow, and don’t leave a bad after-taste or cause unpleasant “fish burps” typical with other fish oils. They don’t need to be refrigerated, so you can keep them handy in your purse, desk drawer, or kitchen cupboard.
What We Don’t Like
It is recommended that you take Bio-Krill/500 with food (particularly breakfast), so you do have to remember to pop a pill with one of your meals. Also, people with seafood allergies may experience a reaction to the product, and people with bleeding disorders shouldn't use krill oil unless under the supervision of a qualified health professional.
As always, check with your doctor before starting any new supplements because there are several options out there. For example, there's also Neptune Krill, and Power of Krill. Overall we think krill is an amazing ingredient! Here's an excellent article by Dr. Moser about Krill. We give Bio-Krill/500 a 5 rating. To learn more about it, visit their website below.
