I just read a snippet from a study from Temple University that said that on average, people tend to be about 1.5 pounds heavier for every fast food meal they eat per week. Wow! That's a significant amount. The researchers also found that those people who ate fast food meals three to six times per week had a body mass index (BMI) nearly a full point higher than the BMI of people who rarely ate the greasy stuff.nnJust think of what that fatty fare, and the weight gain/increased BMI that results is doing to your heart! Your arteries are in danger, and as a heavier person, your heart has to work that much harder to perform simple, everyday activities.nnIf you're a regular drive-through junkie, it might be time to re-think your nutritional approach for the sake of your heart - and your overall health.
