Dan is the president of Jennings, a remarkable advertising agency based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with a specialty in healthcare marketing. He is a marketer, blogger, author and pubic speaker. Dan Dunlop is president of Jennings, a North Carolina-based branding and advertising agency with a specialty in healthcare marketing. A marketer, author, blogger and public speaker, Dan possesses a unique combination of marketing scholarship, real-world experience, and an engaging presentation style.
He has served as a guest lecturer at the UNC School of Public Health, Duke University Markets & Management Program, and UNC’s Kenan Flagler School of Business. His experience as a brand strategist for institutions within the Life Sciences includes work with leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms, medical device manufacturers, and numerous hospitals including Tufts Medical Center, UNC Health Care, Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Rex Healthcare, MetroWest Medical Center, University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina, UVa Health System, Lexington Medical Center and First Health of the Carolinas.
Dan is the co-author of a chapter on the topic of marketing medical practices for the text “Practice Management from the Physician’s Perspective” by Jossey-Bass. He has also recently contributed articles to Healthcare Marketing Report, Healthcare Marketing Advisor and Marketing Health Services (AMA publication), and has been featured in USA Today, Infection Control Today, Managed Healthcare Executive, Healthcare Advertising Review, and Marketing Healthcare Today. Dan serves on the national advisory board of Healthcare Marketing Advisor, a HealthLeaders Media publication.
