Bio-Drene’s formula is comprised of five-naturally occurring substances that help reduce “input calories” absorbed through the digestive system and/or increase the “output calories” burned up in the metabolic process.

What Do They Say it Does?

Main Ingredients: Chromium, Conjugated Linoleic Acid, Gymnema Sylvestre, Banaba Leaf Extract, Green Tea SE Decaf.
Other Ingredients: Rice Bran Oil, Gelatin, Glycerin, Water, Beewax, Lecithin Oil.

What We Like
It's got all of the right ingredients plus no caffeine! There is an expiration date and lot number listed on the packaging, as well as a toll-free number for questions or re-orders. The capsules are of a manageable size to swallow, and the slippery texture makes doing so even easier. They also have somewhat of a black licorice odor, but not an aftertaste of the same (this could be a negative if you’re not partial to black licorice, however).

What We Don’t Like
The bottle doesn’t say exactly what the product is for – just lists it as a “dietary supplement.” Also, the capsules have somewhat of a “greasy” feel to them, almost like the outside coating is “leaking” off. In fact the capsules in the bottle I opened and tested left a bit of a black residue on my fingers.

As always, check with your doctor before starting any new supplements because there are several options out there.
