InsidersHealth.com launched in August of 2008 and has since seen traffic, membership, and user-generated contributions steadily grow. Billed as the Web's first alternative health community with Web 2.0 functionality, Insider's Health (IH) directly competes with the well-known medical information site, WebMD, and features original editorial and user-generated content focused on natural health news, information and alternative healthcare solutions for consumers. IH hosts one of the Web's largest collections of alternative health articles, videos, and vitamin-supplement glossaries, allowing consumers to make informed decisions about vitamins, supplements, herbal remedies, minerals, enzymes and other natural products not directly regulated by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA).

"When we began mapping out the content for Insider's Health, we knew the expert component would become a very important feature as our subscribers were already asking Dr. DeSilva medical questions in his popular Q&A section," said Erin Jansen, Editor-in-Chief and founder of the well-known Internet dictionary, NetLingo. "Now that we're incorporating a conference call, our members will increase their knowledge by hearing his personable style, professional advice, and honest answers first hand." "The Acceleration Health series is congruent with our mission of giving people the opportunity to learn about alternative health solutions instead of relying solely on western medicine or drugs," added Robert Riess, President. "It's like getting free medical advice without a doctor's visit."

Insider's Health also sends a newsletter twice a week to its growing and loyal fan base.
