Side Effects: Resveratrol

The side effects of Resveratrol are relatively unknown - the only reports available seem to be those generated by distributors of Resveratrol products and have side effects such as: live longer, have more energey, look younger; as you are probably aware, these are not side effects, but are benefits.

It makes good sense that the creators of Resveratrol products would be unwilling to badmouth their own products, but you would think they might be smarter than to attempt to fool people by listing positive aspects of the compound as side effects.

I conducted some independent research into the real side effects of resveratrol in order to find out exactly what Resveratrol supplement makers weren't telling us.

Side effects of resveratrol:
  • High blood pressure
  • Dizziness
  • Insomnia
  • Stomach cramps
  • Diarrhea
As you can see the side effects that i found for the product aren't life-threatening, but it would be nice if these companies would be more up-front and honest with the facts.

A lot of the time side effects were only experienced when resveratrol was mixed with other drugs the user was already taking, or when the user bought a low-quality resveratrol supplement.

Low quality supplements add copious amounts of fillers that can interact poorly with resveratrol, or are just harmful in general. Fillers that are often used include:

Sodium Benzoate, BHT, BHA, Tartrazine, Lactose, Peanut Oil, Hydrogenated Cottonseed Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Polysorbate 80, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Magnesium Stearate, Red Dye NO. 33 and 40, Ethyl Cellulose, Sorbic Acid, Fractionated Coconut Oil and Cornstarch.Magnesium Stearate, Lactose, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Silicon Dioxide, Titanium Dioxide, Stearic Acid, Sodium Starch Glycolate, Talc, Sucrose, Povidone, Pregelelatinized Starch, Hydroxy Propyl Cellulose, Ethylcellulose, Crospovidone, Shellac, Calcium Stearate.

With some searching around on the internet you can find a variety of resveratrol supplements - do your research and find out what is in a product before you buy it. I found one resveratrol supplement that is proving to be the strongest and most effective on the market - it is called Vinotol. Vinotol sent me a free trial and was very upfront and honest about the possible resveratrol side effects when I asked. You can get a free trial here: TryVinotol.com/free .
