H1N1 Swine Flu Virus Now Resistant to Tamiflu
It is not uncommon for viruses to mutate and adapt to drugs that are created to fight it, illustrated by what we have seen with the AIDS virus over the years.Rocha, the creator of Tamiflu has been notified and has released a statement saying that they are working on the problem.
"While receiving the drug (Tamiflu), the patient appeared to develop resistance to it," said David Reddy, the leader of Rocha's pandemic research team.
