Great article, just one correction. The line about science not proving the benefits of a vegetarian diet is in correct. The most comprehensive study ever conducted on nutrition (The China Study) proves over and over again, and cites many other studies within it, that animal protein is the defining dietary cause of cancer, among many other serious ailments. True, switching to leaner meat is better, but to achieve optimal health, it should serve only as a step to eliminating animal protein altogether. Animal protein encompasses all meat, dairy, eggs and anything that comes from a living animal. It's not an "animal rights" thing - it's about what the human body is designed and not designed to handle.
